The Screenshot Era Is Over: Vouch Powers TYB Social Boost
Fans already create value for the brands they love. They comment. They share. They recommend products to friends. They show up in the replies and help turn a campaign into a conversation. The participation was always there. Proving it was the broken part.
Today, we are announcing a new collaboration between TYB and Vouch. Vouch powers the verification layer behind Social Boost, a new TYB product that allows brands to verify and reward real social participation without screenshots, manual review, or unnecessary data sharing.
Social Boost launches with Instagram comment verification. A fan connects their account once through a private, consented mobile flow. After that, the experience is simple: Comment. Tap to confirm. Done. Vouch verifies the relevant action, and TYB can recognize and reward it. No screenshots. No manual review. No oversharing.
The old proof flow was built on friction
Anyone who has run a social challenge knows the traditional workflow. A brand asks its community to leave a comment. The fan completes the action, takes a screenshot, uploads it as proof, and waits. Someone on the brand side then has to open every submission and decide whether it is genuine before the reward can be issued. A simple act of participation becomes a chain of administrative tasks: Comment → screenshot → upload → review → reward. This creates friction on both sides. Fans have to interrupt what they are doing and produce evidence of an action they have already completed. Brand teams end up reviewing hundreds or thousands of disconnected screenshots. And because screenshots are detached from the underlying source, they can be incomplete, difficult to interpret, or manipulated. Fans were being asked to turn participation into paperwork. Brands were spending time reviewing evidence instead of activating their communities. Social Boost removes that layer.
Social Boost turns verification into a product experience
With Social Boost, the verification process is built directly into the fan experience. A brand launches a social challenge through TYB. The fan connects their Instagram account through a private, consented flow and completes the requested action, starting with leaving a comment on a designated post. The fan then taps to confirm completion. Vouch verifies that the relevant action took place and returns the verified result to TYB. The fan can be recognized and rewarded without uploading anything, while the brand no longer needs to review the submission manually. Once the account has been verified, the fan experience becomes: Comment → tap → verified. Verification stops feeling like a separate task and becomes part of the product.
Fans prove what matters, not everything
Removing screenshots is only one part of the improvement. The other is reducing unnecessary data exposure. A fan should not have to open up their entire social account or hand over unrelated personal information to prove that they completed one campaign action. Vouch verifies only the specific fact the campaign needs. In the initial Social Boost flow, that means confirming the relevant Instagram comment. Everything outside that verification remains outside the scope of the campaign. The brand receives the signal it needs. The fan keeps everything else private. This creates a better balance between trust and privacy: enough evidence for brands to reward genuine participation, without requiring fans to share more than the campaign actually needs.
Brands get more than a completion signal
Social Boost does not stop at confirming that an individual fan completed a challenge.
Every verified comment is surfaced directly in the TYB brand admin, alongside:
- Analytics for the original Instagram post
- Total comment volume
- The share of engagement generated by the TYB community
This gives brands a clearer view of how their community creates value beyond the TYB platform itself. Instead of relying on a folder of screenshots or a manually maintained spreadsheet, teams can see both the individual participation and the broader campaign impact in one place. The result is not just easier verification. It is a more transparent and measurable view of community-driven engagement.
Verification should disappear into the product
Social Boost is a strong example of what Vouch is built to enable. Valuable user data and activity often sit inside online accounts for which suitable APIs either do not exist or do not provide the information a business needs. The typical fallback is to ask the user for a screenshot, document, or other self-reported evidence, and then review it manually.
Vouch replaces that workflow with a consented verification experience. The user proves a specific fact from the relevant source. The business receives a trusted result rather than an unverified claim or image. The verification happens within the product journey instead of becoming an additional administrative process. TYB brings together fan participation, community activation, and rewards. Vouch makes the underlying activity verifiable. Together, Social Boost turns Proof of Fan into a product feature rather than a submission process.
Better proof creates better rewards
When brands can trust the signal, everything downstream improves. Real fans can be recognized faster. Brands can design campaigns around genuine participation rather than low-quality submissions. Community teams can spend less time reviewing evidence and more time building stronger relationships with the people who consistently show up. Creators also gain a more credible way to demonstrate their participation and contribution, helping genuine activity translate into better opportunities. That is the foundation of a fairer fan economy: real participation is easier to recognize, easier to measure, and easier to reward.
What comes next
Social Boost is launching with Instagram comment verification first. Likes, follows, and shares are next, expanding the range of social actions that brands can verify and reward without bringing back screenshots or manual review. We will also share a deeper look at the TYB and Vouch integration, together with real campaign case studies, in the weeks ahead. Real fans get seen.Creators level up. Brands activate their communities with confidence.
The screenshot era is over.
